Rainham Red, a legend in his own lunchtime. He was going to Arsenal matches before even I was born!
Respect where it's due man! He was watching Arsenal before my mum was born . My only claim to fame is that I was born in the same hospital as RR, many years later of course

Funny you should mention that.My best friend was born in Colney Hatch as they had a maternity ward during the war.I myself was born in the Salvation Army Mothers Home in Hackney, the very same place as AK.Small world isn`t it

Smaller yet; they closed Colney Hatch as a hospital in the late eighties. Now it`s vastly expensive apartments. The grounds of the hospital were developed into a housing estate which is where we now live. I can see the hospital out of the window now.
Smaller yet
This is getting Bizarre AK and me born in the same hospital,my friend born in Colney Hatch where you now live. There are some things happening in the world of which we have no understanding and perhaps it`s better (and safer) that way.
I have always thought that Jack Kelsey was the best Goalkeeper I have seen play for AFC,better even than Seaman and Jennings
Different times with different rules but he certainly was a class act and up with them.
Vs Man Utd - Won 3-1
I remember that.As we were walking up Wembley Way a woman from the BBC approched us and asked if we would like to be interviewed on TV.We said yes and she took us to where the interviewer and cameras were, unfortunately,it was the Man U end of the stadium and we had about 50 Man U supporters at the back of us pulling faces and making V signs above our heads. The interviewer asked us a couple of questions and to finish off asked me what the score would be and when I said 5-0 to the Gooners it nearly started a riot. However,it was all in good humour and at the end of the interview we shook hands with some of the United boys and went on our way.
