The worst moment ever watching Arsenal was the moment the ball hit the back of the net to make the game 2-1 it was a game we deserved to win played better than the other team. Robbed by the ref who missed a blatant hand ball on the line I could go on but even writing this is making me feel mad, I cant even stand to watch it on TV.
1 - eduardo injury 2 - belletti shot in off almunia in paris 3 - that other goal in paris!!! 4 - joy to despair in seconds at anfield last season 5 - 5-1 6 - 6-1
There have been quite a few.As STG says the Cup Final against Liverpool was a real bummer.Rarely has a team been so outplayed in a Final and still won.The Ref should have been sacked for missing the most blatant of blatant penalties. The Cup Final against Ipswich in 1978 when we were red hot favourites but didn`t turn up on the day.The Chelsea Champions League game at Highbury when we did the hard work in the first leg and drew 1-1,scored first in the second leg and then conceded two goals.
Other than the obvious ones I always remember being extremely fed up after the home defeat by Blackburn at the back end of 1997. It obviously upset the players too, as this was the legendary game where Wrighty had his chat at the changing room window and the players had their "discussion" after the match and we went on to win the double. Least disappointed after a big match was the loss to Chelsea at Cardiff. I think most of the Arsenal crowd leaving the stadium had the same feeling, as it was a really good atmosphere. Actually felt better after this match than when we beat United on penalties! Strange but true! God knows how we ever won that. The only thing that made it OK was when I got home and saw how disgusted Ferguson and Keane were on the TV highlights!
As a kid I was really disapointed when we lost at Wembley to Swindon in the League cup and losing to Sunderland in the FA Cup semi final I was at both games realy gutted. Also remember losing to Ipswich in the FA cup final Talbot scored then we bought him .
1972 European cup, our first go at it. Marinello through on the goalkeeper, chipped it straight to him. Then GG slid one gently past Bob Wilson and the ball rolled slowly into the net. 1-0 and out.

Went flat so quickly after those 2 incidents as everyone just knew that we'd had our chance to beat that great team (Ajax in case no-one knows!)
mine would be anfield last season well gutted, even my hubby (a pool fan) didnt celebrate when THEY got the 'pen', although our recent derby comes just as close to how I felt then.
