It's looking very likely already, we're not good enough. We've already lost 2 games and we haven't played anybody yet (Blackburn finished 7th last year and will be a long way off that this year and Newcastle finished 12th)!
To be perfectly honest, I'd prefer if we put ourselves out of contention now than fall apart at the end of the season like last year, it's much easier to accept.

We are not doing a bad job of it, by losing to Fulham and Hull

Hopefully we can build on that performance last night, we definitely have the quality to win something, whether we actually will, who knows!
Carling or FA Cup aren't really good enough either, it has to be League or Champions League, but if it was either Carling or Fa Cup, it would at least ease the feeling of failure.
