If he carry's on his form from last season and scores 20+ goals in the league again will the Adebayor hater's still hate him for apparenlting wanting huge sum's of money this season or will they go back to worthshiping him just as united fan's do with their player's I.e Ronaldo.
If he has a similar season he will justify his alleged demands. 1 season does not put you on par with TH14. And yes I know its all paper talk but he had a reputation as a big head before he arrived and it is a very believable story.
If Adebayor goes AW would go and sign a replacemnt striker that would have to be done not even AW is that arragoant to think thta we would challenge for the title with just Robin and Eduardo.
ade is one of those players that i have taken a personal dislike to right from day 1. its about more than just football. want him to stay but will still have very little time for him
Footballs changed, people need to accept that money is now a big factor in football, its easy for us to say we would turn down 120 grand a week when we are already on £50 grand a week, but a garentee that if a lot of us were footballers then a lot of us would leave the club we love for the big big money, we can all say no we wouldnt including myself, but we have never been offered that sort of rise so we dont realy know what we would say.
I want Ade to stay myself, and i wouldnt worry about the Adebayor haters either as when we get back to the Grove no one will sing the Ade hate song ayway.
Most fans are not stupid and will not put up with disloyal players. I think even United fans are on the brink with Ronaldo too.
Agreed. He may not get Boo'ed but he will have lost large sections of the crowd. I for one will struggle to sing the song.

Not from day one but since the 'I'm only on because you're ****' comments and head butting Bendtner on the pitch i have worried about his attitude. This summer has added to my concerns.

I wouldn't put too much money on that. I won't be singing it but depending on what happens between now and the end of summer many other might.......
Reports in todays papers say he is wiling to lower his sights to 100k per week. Seems to me that now Milan are not interested he has realised his bargaining power has reduced greatly and his options limited. Looks like he may of found himself in a corner and the tables being turned on him.
