If anyone still doubts that we need sweeping changes from the very top of our Club, they are living in cloud cuckoo land.
We have been treading water for the past two seasons while our three top rivals have strived for continuous improvement from an already stronger starting position. Worse still, Villa showed far more ambition in the transfer market over the summer - and how it is paying off. How long will it be before the likes of Man City build the nucleus of a successful team? Even Pompey under Tony Adams look more organised and purposeful than us in many Departments.
Sorry, Arsene, you have been an inspirational manager for this Club, but the game has now passed you by and the gap between it and you is growing. We need a manager who is mentally equipped to understand the need to compete for top, experienced players in the transfer market. Otherwise, the few remaining jewels in our crown (e.g. Cesc) will make the same decision that Flamini and Hleb made.
Mancs have been as critical of Sir Rednose, from time to time, then he dlivers and all is well, then things go bad and they demand his head on a platter and so it continues. Get the message?

Below us in the league aren't they?

All 3 bankrolled via personal loans from Billionaires, as are Villa. They can't afford it and have recognised that. Liverpool may be in dire financial straits come January, Chelski could go under tomorrow if Roman leaves, same with United. We have built our new ground, where are Chelskis and Liverpools?
Not assessing the facts, but just applying short-termist theory. This season isn't going great, obviously, but an overreaction in my opinion.

I'm a resident of Cuckoo Land then as i dont think its sweeping changes we need and certainly not from the top.
A top drawer world class centre midfielder added to our team would make a huge difference. Add a new and better GK (Jussi was free in the summer ) and we'd be more than a match for most sides - hardly sweeping changees from the very top
Big Sam Alladyce is free at the moment replace AW with him and instead of all those silly little passes we get now we can hoof it up field and Bendtner would be in his element.
We need more than just a top-drawer midfielder and a commanding keeper. At the very least, we also need a commmanding centre back, a quality wide midfielder and possibly another quality striker in place of the hapless Bendtner unless Eduardo returns to his former self.
But can you honestly see that happening under our current manager if he is given another season?

Thats about £100M worth of players. You can't blame Wenger for not purchasing all of them, although I agree that he should have addressed a few.
It's like when you own a house, if you don't attend to problems when they occur then eventually everything needs to be done at the same time.
We have been leaking experience and quality relentlessly since 2004 and replaced very little of it. We were told it was the manager's judgement not to invest in the transfer market as it would inhibit youngsters coming through.
The strategy is clearly not working, and it is not going to work.
If Liverpool go under, or at least have to have a fire-sale of players in January, is our "prudent" strategy good or bad?
If you want us to sell to a billionaire who will gift us £200M for players, like Man City, then say so. Its not Wengers fault we can't compete financially with these people.
It is Wenger's fault that he is not prepared to buy players when they are available and affordable. Anelka last January and Barry in the summer to name but two. Let's be very clear that our manager said he did not want these players. They did not turn us down - they weren't offered the chance to!

Why the hell would we want Anelka? We have the best striking options in the league.
And what proof do you have? Because most places suggest we went in for several players, but they all fell through. Oh and for the record, that is not down to Arsene.
y the hell would we want Nik Anelka when we have Nik Bendtner!
I rest my case, m'lud
Eduardo, van Persie, Adebayor? Bendtner is a good fourth choice striker, not to mention Vela, Simpson and when Rosicky is back Walcott? You reckon Anelka would be happy to play second fiddle to these players, three of which are better imo? Hell no. Not needed.
