He also served 6 years in a soviet jail for fraud and corruption only to be pardoned thanks to presssure from that other dodgy gent President Islom Karimov.
Many guilty people have recieved pardons btw due to political reasons.
Pretty one-sided (or blinded) understanding of the political history in Russia. While there were some guilty people who received pardons, there were also far more who were jailed simply for their politics or their family's politics who were pardoned. But then that doesn't fit in with the propaganda spiel, does it?

That's pretty easy to answer, Rocastle. No one can be under investigation after an official pardon. Usmanov isn't my choice of someone who I would like to run the club - but that is more due to his business statements than to his nationality, unlike some. I guess there never has been an innocent man wrongly accused and imprisoned, or that someone actually pays their debt to society.

After reading many threads on the forum, I have to agree that our stadium move is going to cost us dearly. Ages ago somebody mentioned on the forum that it won't be good if we cannot fill the new stadium because we don't have a competitive team. In addition, Arsene Wenger has done a magnificent job considering he doesn't have any finances. A truly great man with high principles. He hasn't exactly criticized the board even though he deserves to say something, and so stop other people shouting at Wenger.

What's frustrating is the Man Utd were bought with a loan that demands an annual payment of £60m per annum, yet they still took a chance and invested in transfesr/contracts to increase the global popularity of their 'franchise'
Our stadium payments are a third of their annual loan payment, yet we made to feel we are struggling financially.
