ive had a nights sleep to get over yesterday and like you nice peeps,im still angry.
Its took me ages to work it out,i know, but imo the board WONT let Arsene buy anyone that is going to cost more than the 16 year olds,Arsene has had to buy. The board want less and less money going out of THEIR coffers so when they inevitably sell, then they will get the maximum benifit. They DONT care imo if we DONT win anything,as long as their investment carries on making money. Id say that the 70 million they say is available to Arsene,ISNT THERE. Im getting to think that what David Dein said about us falling behing the top 3 and the rest of Europe, unless we start to spend big,is about to come true. Us fans have had to put up with these constraints for the past 3 years, but now i think enough is enough. If the board cant or wont keep this club going alongside "THE BEST" in europe, then sell to someone who will give the fans something to look forward to. David Dein in some peoples eyes was/is the big bad wolf, but im inclined to go along the lines that its the present board who are shafting us |

The most annoying part is that if the souless concrete bowl doesn't help us compete we should have stayed at our beloved Highbury
Arsene and the board are making out that us fans are stupid by lying about our financial position - thats the part that hurts me the most |

The brain is telling me that the move will come good for the clubs finances in several years time. Moving though we have sacrificed so much, possibly too much. My gut is telling my brain to shut up as it misses Highbury and wants some soul back in the club. |

I've been saying for ages we dont have the money to spend as the board have been making out. They are not going to come out and say "We dont have the money to spend" as they know the fans would be in uproar so they say the money is there.
Maybe a takeover would not be such a bad thing. |

I dont get this. If we dont have the money then why have we spent on the players we have bought so far. And, if we have no money left because we have spent it all, why did we not make a better buys in terms of experience. I cannot and will not buy this, i think we do have the money but simply wont buy.

we all know if some quality does not come in before the window shuts
then there wil be some serious questions need asking , even when cesc comes back in he will have to play the rest of the season without getting injured again, i dont think so |

If you were a board member and you new there were at least 2 partys very very interested in buying your club, then why would you want to break the bank on the likes of(just say)Robinho and co.? That would mean jeopardissing their money coming in. Arsenal will be sold and it cant come quick for me. Like you all,I LOVE Arsenal immensely and very upset and angry to realise that the People in control at Arsenal now are in it for their own gain. They realise now that football isnt like it was 10-20 years ago its now BIG BUSINESS and imo their love now IS for money and NOT the team. It saddens me! |

If the board is not going to allow investment then the ticket / season ticket prices should be reduced to reflect the fact that we are no longer a competing side.
I feel ripped off at the price I pay and the lack of quality I have received. Its a bloody joke and its us the FANS that the laugh is on. All you out there that say get behind YOUR team. Do you think YOUR team think as much of us as we are supposed to of them? Course not. Its about time that people on this forum and others and those attending the matches realise that this `love affair with Arsenal` is completely one sided. The loyal fan, the one who scrimps and saves to follow the team through thick and thin, are thought of about as much as the dog mess on your shoe. But if you`re corporate, well, that`s where the money is, until the day when Arsenal are no longer the big team that they purport to be and start to struggle to fill those money making corporate boxes. |

Its will be a sad day when Arsenal sell out to either a hard-nosed money grabbing investor a la Glazer or becomes a toy to a rich playboy a la Abramovich.
You don't know what you've got till its gone. |

I feel that the current Board has taken the Club as far as they could and they should REALLY start considering selling their shares to someone who's AMBITIOUS ENOUGH to invest in this team.
The Emirates was supposed to give AW that extra cash needed to compete with Chavski and Man U. Well, as it turns out , that may well NOT happen for another 20 years according to AW. In recent times key figures of the current board have left / been sacked and , of course, they haven't been replaced yet ( a similar situation to our on-field problems ). Dein gone , Edelman gone ... who'll be the next to be pushed ? I just wish the likes of Hill-Wood and , more importantly, Fizsman realize that their time at the Club is up and sell to someone who's willing to invest more heavily on the team and deliver the trophies the Club deserves... |
