Hopefully it won't be quite as long as 3 months which has been reported, but if this doesn't push Wengers hand in the transfer window (which I'm pretty sure it won't), I won't be a happy camper and not for the first time!
Not good enough for Arsenal
Is John O'Shea good enough for United? No, but he is a very handy squad player who can fill in and do a job. Eboue is obviously better than that, he is quite talented, but has a similar role. We miss him at times [Stoke and Sunderland iirc for instance] and I can't wait to have him back.
3 months
I very much doubt it, similar injuries tend to rule people out for around a month apparently.

so now i wonder what the useless FA will say, we are sorry...bla bla bla, that doesnt cut it for me,its a disgrace.
so let me get this right, he is out for close to 12 weeks?another player stephen pearson had the same injury and he was out for 4weeks and then started training but he is much tougher than the brittle trust fund babies or football players at arsenal or we all know how soon we get our players back from injury Mad...its just disgusting but really now i feel the season is over and we should just rap it up.they say denlison will play there, we have all seen the great things he has done playing there Frowner , no cesc even an underperforming one, no pace to get in behind other teams, eboue is out as well, rosicky, eddie, sagna,i very much expect rvp, nasri and gallas to join the list before they get back....
i have been a gunner for a long time and really i have never been as upset as this, both with injuries and gutless displays by the team.IT HURTS like hell

It has now come to the point where the FA should stop these brainless, dazed, deficient, dense, dim, doltish, dopey, dull, dumb, foolish, futile, half-baked, half-witted, idiotic, ill-advised, imbecilic, inane, insensate, irrelevant, laughable, ludicrous, meaningless, mindless, moronic, naive, nonsensical, obtuse, pointless, puerile, rash, senseless, shortsighted, simple, simpleminded, slow, sluggish, stolid, stupefied, thick, trivial and witless England friendlys during mid-season.

What is the f-ing point of them anyway most of the top teams(except Arsenal) pull their plays out of them, everybody I know couldnt give a fig about the games, all they want is the players who are from their teams to come back un-injured.

What does the England manager get form these games? Does he get time to really train with the players? By the time they all arrive on Monday lunch-time and get ready it fly out to Germany(no training) Tuesday some trainning but only 1 day, Wed light trainning before the game. So thats 1 and a half days with a pointless game at the end of it.

I think it's just the acquisitive, avaricious, carnivorous, close-fisted, covetous, craving, desirous, devouring, eager, edacious, esurient, gluttonous, gobbling, gormandizing, grabby, grasping, grudging, gulping, guzzling, hoggish, hungry, impatient, insatiable, insatiate, intemperate, miserly, niggardly, omnivorous, parsimonious, pennypinching, penurious, piggish, prehensile, rapacious, ravening, ravenous, selfish, swinish and voracious Football Association who really want these games.

The clubs should stand up together and stop these friendly's NOW

i am not against friendlies, just stupid ones, we have already seen what the likes of terry, Walcott,Rio,Gerard, fat lamp, cole, heskey and the big guys can do,why not they use this to explore more options just in case the first choices don't make it?i will hate to see another episode like the beckham metatarsal where it got to a point where papers were printing pictures of his foot and asking people to pray for his quick healing..mind boggling if you ask me...why cant he try lower leagues players or championship players or other players that need and will die for their first cap..why must it always be the usual suspects eh?its an experiment after all at least he will be able to groom new players in other positions and find out who will be a suitable replacement for another player if they get injured.....am not happy one bit and unlike other clubs that will sue the FA and collect their money for players wages(Newcastle on owen) arsenal will actually pay Walcott's wages cos the gaffer is some kinda of a French gentleman.he might be angry but his moral righteousness is getting in the way of hitting this guys where it hurts..this is ridiculous considering the fact that the english FA have a contempt for us and a witch hunt is out to get us...we seem to be done more wrongs by referees and the establishment
despite the media's hard on for him this season he's been pretty average for us.

his technique is laughably poor compared to the likes of vela, ramsey, wilshere and merida.
Lets 4get about the end result cos Theo is not used as a striker

All in know is that when teams are tired or at least teams are attacking us..once Theo gets the ball on the run...he unsettles most defences and keeps them on their toes....

It's just a pity that we never take advamtage of those runs he makes...we always end up trying to pass it in the final 3rd when all it needs is a shot.

We are/have bn stronger even with Theo on his bad day.attack wise.so far this season....

We will miss him : FACT.

but the positive is ...I have a feeling that one of the kids if gigen a chance and (AW if brave enough to try...one of them) will step up and add another dimension to our game till Theo recovers.

Good luck Theo....

and welcome wiltshere...ramsey...or Jay Simpson...if you get your chance...

Absolutely love it, STG!

These friendlies in-season have absolutely no use whatsoever.
