Well the transfer window hasn't shut yet so i wont write our chances off just yet. But if we don't get anyone or two or three we have no chance.

With the current squad - absolutely not! I despair of the spin coming out of Arsenal about how good this squad is supposed to be when results and passion show otherwise. In todays' Express AW states ... 'you speak of Invincibles, but we only lost 3 games last season with the same players now' So Hleb, Flamini, Gilberto, etc made no contribution and were clearly, invisible? We need a bit of honesty and not taking us for mugs. Come May, many of us will be saying I told you so and looking forward to an invite to the Inter Toto cup!!

This question is premature. Ask it again on the 1st September. We do not know if we will buy another player - I think we will. It's not yet clear if Chelsea will bring in additional reinforcement. Even if they do I think it will be interesting to see how Scolari and the new recruits deal with English winters, English pitches in winter and northern teams in general. As for ManU I'm not convinced by their start either.

NO! I am worrying about making the top 4. I do hope that I am 100% wrong.

i don't buy into this old crap about playing in british winters, playing up north etc, etc..
Chelsea already have enough players who have already done this season after season and i doubt Deco or Bosingwa will struggle going to Sunderland or Hull in December

Not for the next 3 years at the very least... Will be fortunate to maintain a top 4 slot

We've a better chance of wining the Champions League this year, and i'll settle for that. Hope we can hang onto fourth, but there's no way we'll finsih within 12points of the league champions

Yes. I think we have a decent chance, but in order for it to be a great chance we need a new CM and to sort the Cbs out.

If we'd have done as Wenger originally said at the end of last season and kept the team together, but also added a couple of players, then yes.
But with the current squad, no. We'll be good enough for fourth, possibly third, but I dread to think how we would do if Cesc picked up a injury that ruled him out for a few months.
The fact is, we're far too light in midfield. And ultimately, that is where games are won and lost.

Is the top 4 in the Premier League quickly becoming the top 2 ?

i think this present time,if not stregthened could be arsen,s downfall.we keep hearing were still building.but we dont buy quality players.its superstars we need and superstars who can score goals wud be nice.adebayor just dont float my boat.he lacks killer instinct.cum xmass will the great arsen be looking over his shoulder? time will tell
