Back on to topic, yeah Vermaelen has been class so far and seems to get the rest of the back four gee'd up, which has to be a good thing.

Jm dont worry about Radford i agree with you Vermaelen is different class unlike last year where it would have been panic stations at every high ball. he has brought a calming influence to the back four. you are so right about his positional play and reading of the game is out of the top draw.
Radford I respect everybodies opinion but I'm a Gooner for nearly 40 years who has travelled back and forth from Ireland for over 25 years for usually 10 games a season I think I am more than a JCL!
