tbh I don't think he was a bad captain last season...a bad incident at birmingham is what we all remember but if you look past that he was a good captain, and he acknowledges his faults which I think is good.

Him being on the bench worries me. Have you noticed that when they throw water bottles to the players, they have to actually put it in his hands to stop him punching it
good i liked Gallas as captain, he may of seemed a little over the top sometimes and what happened at brum aswell, but i thougt overall he ws one of the reason we had such a great start to the season he and Wenger made everyone belive that we could win something. im shur he will correct his mistakes and be better this season.
If Gallas wasnt picked as captain then he would turn into our 3rd or 4th choice defender because I can't see him being as commited as the others.
I thought that he did well last season, yeah he messed up at Birmingham but in a way that showed how much passion he had, he already knew how important that result was before any of us.
I am sure he will be a very good captain this season and hopefully he wont have too many injuries.
