Well, I can only say what I was told and my informant is in a senior position with close links to said individuals.
And Im not talking pub gossip passed down the line.

Sounds so bizarre though it probably is true! i'm not sure about him becoming our manager in the future, but they may have formed a close friendship that will lead to such speculation
I think recently the meadia have tried to sow seeds of doubt against Wenger with a view to turning people (including Gooners) against him
Two questions : Why would they do this ?
Who is behind it ?

i dont think the media are trying to turn anyone against wenger, its just typical press scaremongering, creating a 'crisis' that isnt really there, designed to sell papers.

Have just read the article and love the bit where he says "I wouldn't trust them to walk my dog. There are ex-players and ex-referees being given air-time who I wouldn't listen to in a pub." Fair deuce to Roy Keane for clearly saying in public what a lot of us fans have been saying and thinking for years.
even Merse has been having a go, he is no true Gooner!
MErse is still bitter that Wenger threw him out. He usually has doom and gloom comments about us, so i dont bother listening to him

Well said, Keane. I almost like the man, now. Sky pundits will have the knife out for Sunderland now. Then they will look even more stupid than usual.

The media can continue to be lazy and resort to sensationalistic stories though, AK, particularly when they are fed by the frenzy of our own supporters booing and posting ad nauseum about replacing almost every player on the squad *and* Wenger. We are reaping, in many cases, what we've sown.

Merse, although a legend, is a Chelsea fan.
