We are a bigger laughing stock than the Spuds and Newcastle Frowner
Who cares!

We were not going to challenge for the title this season. We need to move on, buy in JANUARY so players can be ready for August 09.

Good news in my opinion

It would be funny if this acted as a kick up the bum for the team and we actually won the Premiership because of it.

Have we now pressed the self-destruct button? What are we doing to this wonderful Club? By the turn of the year, Spurs will have more points than us and we'll be in mediocrity and more of a laughing stock than we are now! Look at history and see how once proud, strong clubs get into spirals and languish.

Get in touch with reality.

Gallas has been personally at fault for 5+ goals this season, is a terrible leader and is generally **** poor.

Gunnerrob wake up you are having a bad dream...

spuds will love to be in our position right now..come on..

we only changed a captain..not as it London Bridge is Falling down..

it might even kick start our season...cos we have been up and down like yoyo's for the 1st half...

chin up....Arsenal will always be great...all trophies that have eluded us will come in sooner than expected..

chin up Wink

Ok...firsty i agree with some of Gallas's comments about not being brave enough..and i dont think he should be captain..BUT...i still think he could do a job for us and he has scored some vital goals for us more then any other of our defence is likely to contribute..

Funny enough i actually thought that when he sat on the pitch after the Brum game it showed he cared and although it might not have bee the right thing to do i felt like kicking the advertising boards too at the end of that game because we let them off the hook!

I did not agree with Gallas being the captain, and I did not like what he did at Brum, he is a professional and should behave like one. I can't say I'm surprised by this news. But for some reason, I feel a bit sorry for him.

Toure is vice captain. By virtue of that he is the new Captain.

With no gallas, he will be first choice CB.
Therefore, prob solved.

Toure back in the team, toure captain.
