they are not that similar.

kolo is a slider a last ditch defender(like sol)using pace to their advantage and gallas prefers to be strong and stand up in the tackle more of an intercepter,using his brain and expiriance more he is far more conservative in his game than kolo,reading the game better.

kolo also far more likely to bring the ball out from the back than willy.

Wow, I pretty much agree with Jonny on everything in this thread... except the title.

I don't think Gallas would leave, he knows we have a serious chance of winning silverware next season and he has a good thing going on here.

On potential future captains... I see only two candidates. Senderos and Flamini. [Damn, imagine saying that a year ago!] Senderos, I believe, is good enough to be in this team. And he is a good organiser, he gives everything to the cause and he could lead from the back. Flamini, he barks orders as well. Think he would be a good leader. Personal favourite is Phil at the moment.

Anyways, Gallas is a really good captain and I hope for the foreseeable future he is with us. Oh and totally forgave him for Brum.

I get it, you were right and I was wrong. I stand by 80% of what I said, I just hope he is the sole cause of unrest in the dressing room... but I'm not so sure.
