by removing theo and nasri and bringing on eboue and song it was always inevitable that we would sit deeper and invite sperz onto us
was i watching a different game? when exactly did spurs come onto us? they didn't?

in the 87th minute, us having knocked the ball about for the previous 4 minutes, clichy fell over & we conceeded. we then panicked for the next 2 or 3 minutes. on the 93rd minute, cesc had the ball in acres of space and tried to slip a ball threw to adebayor, this went through to gomes and the rest is history.

the substitutions had no impact whatsoever, watch the last 10 mins of that game again & see how much pressure we were under.

Bigpecks I am enjoying your posts and I have the same mentality as you.But I do believe that if we had kept the three on we would have scored a lot more and we could really have rubbed it in.5 6or even 7 the spuds were there for the taking. Frowner

theo has not completed a game for us in however many appearances, he gets taken off in every game he plays and gets replaced with eboue/whoever. out of the 40 odd times this has happened how many times has this cost us a match? once or twice maybe? fact remains that this method is more likely than not to succeed.

the over reaction to wenger and individual players after last night is comical.

i can't wait for us to spank stoke and beat Man U and so i can bump all these threads!

played 16 games this season, won 11 drawn 3 & lost 2.

fulham game terrible, sunderland not good, hull & spurs freak games, freak goals..

champions league - scored 16 & conceeded 3 including beating a turkish side that hadn't lost at home for 3 years.

carling cup -spank 5 past a good first division side with average age of 18

prem - 3 points behind chelsea

eduardo due to return in 3 weeks

still remain the most entertaining team in the prem

I can't see the negativity!

i guess its how you define success. if winning trophies is the only way that you feel that success is defined (i.e as suggested by the media) then i suppose the outlook isn't great. if however your definition of success is seeing a team on a shoe string budget competing against teams bank rolled by multi-billionaires and generally outplaying them and being acknowledged as the best footballing team of the past deacde then i think we're not doing too bad.
