.... A father and son have been banned from Burnley for their part in a cowardly attack where a mob of Burnley fans attacked four Arsenal fans by the cricket club as they returned to there car.
OB were in pretty quickly so i'd hope they were arrested and prosecuted but maybe not? It really was incredibly pathetic, a large bunch of Burnley morons waiting for literally any Arsenal fans in colours they could find to attack, the fact that we didn't have colours on probably meant we missed out on it...
Some of our fans at that game who were mouthing off and pointing at Burnley fans after the game then jumped straight on the Travel Club coaches to safety didn't help matters.
They banned 57 at Burnley last year. Even found that one of their councillors for Lanehead ward in Burnley had been banned in 2003 for the same offense. Another member of Burnley's 'Suicide Squad' was convicted in 2003 for killing a 17-year-old Nottingham Forest fan. Nice folk.

Sierra, not necessarily so. The 37 Arsenal fans handed banning orders after Copenhagen were not charged, tried or convicted in either Denmark or the UK, yet some still received 4 year banning orders from the club.
They were part of a witchunt by Piers Morgan when he was editor of The Mirror and has since apologised for his actions. A couple of those 'caught' subsequently lost their jobs and were eventually awarded a very substantial amount by way of compensation.
