He only played 45mins, he started the midfield alongside Denilson (Traore left wing, Henri Lamsbury right wing)
I watched the game live on the tv and personally thought he looked decent - didnt do anything spectalur, just an all round accomplished and solid performance with some good touches and passes - i can see why he's been described as being like Steven Gerrard after some of his accomplished long passes and a one or 2 surging forward runs
Played the first half . Very dominating in the middle ,perhaps tried too many long diagonal passes but I am sure that when Cesc gets hold of him he will learn to keep better posession, outshone Denilson who seemed very sluggish.
he seem to adopt the "Fabregas" approach in passing ppl.. nice to see a guy doing this at a young age ..but, turning barnet defenders and finishing the half losing is a complete ball game from premiership oppositions .. he will be coming off the pich and playing in the carling cup .. its up to him to keep a regular place in the 1st team though!
