It appeared to me that The ANTHEM got a good round of applause on Saturday now they/we just have to sing it.

I still think its not right. Some people started singing 'Arsenal' over it. Damn right.

I think it is going to take off Den .. I am astonished to say I now think its a good idea .. hated it in theory but I think it has the potential to get the crowd going ...

You are right It appeared that the Northbank tried to sing over it but I was surprised at the Applause and I do think like Swede that it will catch on.Again I had to tell others around me about it.

Woman next to me in the bar..said I must get to my seat to listen to Wonder of you....I said your jesting.........She was serious........

I seem to remember that at the Fulham game the volume was higher, it seemed a bit quieter at the Man City game. I think Swede is right and that it will take off, I tried to sing it yesterday but not mant around me did though and didnt seem that much interested.

I can see why they picked it. It does seem like it could be an anthemy song, with all the right notes in the right places.

However, for reasons previously given I can't see it taking off. I don't think we are an 'anthem' kinda club. I'm forever blowing bubbles, You'll Never Walk Alone and so on... they work because the vast majority of the fans sing it. And they're synonymous with the respective clubs.

I see your point F3955 and Good old Arsenal for me but it aint going to happen so I will sing along to the new song lyrics please.

I will as well den, and to a certain extent I hope I'm proved wrong. It would be great to have 60,000 people singing before the game.
