As usual, lots of comments about who should go but who should we buy?

I'd sell Song, Reyes and Muamba and use the money to buy lots of cotton wool with which to wrap up our squad. Then we might challenge for the title.

Bring back Bentley for starters. We're going to have to spend big for once if we are going to challenge for tropies. I personally would love to see Eto'o or David Villa up top, a top quality left winger who can go past his man and scores goals (Quaresma? Ribery?) Craig Gordon in goal to replace Jens.

Boruc to replace Jens.Ribery or Babel to create some width and a 15 goals a season striker-maybe Darren Bent?

Dean Ashton?

we need a new Goalkeeper...I like the bloke who plays for PSV he looks quality

we need two free goalscoring midfielders like Pires & Overmars & nd also someone like Vieira

not convinced Diaby, Denilson & Cesc are the way forward...people say they are still young and will get better with age...but i'm sure Man U, Liverpool & Chelsea are saying that about there players aswell...

Some good suggestions; strongly agree with Ribery. I posted on another thread today about my frustrations with our inability to get the ball over the first man at corners. I am sure they would not sell him but i would really like Cudicini. Would be happy to give our free scoring friend from Spurs a go as well; we must get some goals from somewhere!

Have you honestly seen anyone more like Vieira than Diaby? I certainly haven't. Even if there was, he'd cost a hell of a lot of money.

Either of those would cost at least £30m. They're not realistic targets.

I quite agree Robbie, but i would have been very pleased to have Darren Bent, or someone like him, available once the other lads were injured. I truly believe that this has been our major weakness this season; we do not have quality in depth like some of the rivals. I love our build-up play but there are too many games when we just never look like scoring. Good old fashioned centre forward should sort that!

I too would sell Song, Reyes, Muamba, Bendtner, Aliadiare and send Beast home and release Jens or sell, whatever his contract sits at. I would buy Given/Foster/Boruc, I'd snatch Schneider, I'd bring in and spend on a striker such as Ibrahimovic or Robinho or Eto'o, maybe Del Piero. And I'd cash in on the players West Ham are going to lose, perhaps Reo-Coker, Neill, Zamora..

I agree about Henry and RVP as first choice strikers next season-my point was thatif they get injured again-we need a 15 goals a season back up striker to cope with injuries so that if the worst was to happen again, we would not be as toothless as we have looked in recent games.
