So according to Radford (& others), he'd be quite happy to see Eboue leave on a free or we get a couple of million for him..

Honestly, I really do wonder about the mentality of some people in this world.

Why on earth would people be happy to see this guy leave. One of the best 'attacking right backs' in the premiership, one of the few 'characters' left in the Arsenal team, one of the few in the side who can put in a decent cross and a pretty versatile player all round.

Granted he's no Ronaldo but you'd sooner have Gilbert as our back up right back?

If Glen Johnson went for 17million, who are we likely to get instead for the 3 or 4 million that we might get for Eboue?

Keep him. He's a good back up for when Sagna is injured or needs a break. Still think he is 6th/7th choice for the right wing position though.

Eboue wont be missed but young talent like Fran Merida will. Ramsey will take his place well.

Definitely try to keep him (and I wouldn't have said that last season). Bigpecks is right - why sell him for a pittance or for nothing when he has a great deal to offer us and when we would defnitely be weakening our squad if he left? He can only keep improving in my opinion.

a proven experienced player will not be missed from a young squad whereas an untried, untested player with 0 experience would be missed from the squad Roll Eyes

Ramsey will take who's place? Merida? Since Ramsey loooks absolute quality, then is it not more reasomable to believe that Merida wouldn't be missed?

Very constructive comments as ever and one ever so sexist!!!

Just goes to show how much you really know about football and that your posts just seem to be about getting your post count up and to wind people up.

You are now getting very very boring and it is not even funny anymore

Ignore him he is just a whined up, you try and have a debate with him and he demands facts despite never giving his own then you give facts and he just says oh what a rubbish post. He is a man child sniggering behind his computer screen.

Anyway regarding Eboue he has never been that good a player anyway other than when he first burst on the scene against Juventus. I wouldnt mind keeping him but he just wont cut out the diving and play acting and it is so embarrising. That dive against United after the Eduardo incident. He just seems stupid and unable to learn.

I think he gives good cover as right back and also a good player to have on the bench. If he wants to leave to find a regular first team place then thats up to him but while he is wearing an Arsenal shirt and Mr Wenger is picking him I will give him 100% support

Yea ecspecialy as unlike the left back position where we have Clichy, Gibbs, Traore and even Gallas who can play there for right back we arnt so blessed. Sagna and then after that it dosnt look so good. Eboue and then who? Gilbert?
Still the diving and play acting really bothers me he just does not ever seem to learn or cut it out and I will never forget and struggle to forgive how stupid he was against the scum last season at there toilet.
