'Number wise, we are level'? God I'm praying he's being canny and has one Harvey looking type mo fo up his long sleeve because experience wise we anit level. I trust him and guess he is playing it cool but I wouldn't half like a carrot now and then.

Honestly I have no idea what kind of player we will bring in. No strong rumours either, maybe Gareth Barry but that is an awful lot of money.

Frings is 31 and if reports are to be believed was offered to Newncastle who turned him down - personally i think it would be a decent bit of business as it gives us some experience to the squad, and as he's old he won't be a major threat to the long term future of the kids - more just a stop gap until they are ready.

Tho i dont think Wenger thinks that way so i doubt we'll sign a 31yr old
