In Arsene, we have been blessed.
A thoughly nice man.
And the best manager on the planet.
All his successes have been deserved.
Not purchased.

Absolutely. Though he does confuse the hell out of me sometimes (Denilson saturday!!!) He is aging anyone noticed that? Hope he doesnt become another premiership casualty as in managers with health problems. He looks drained sometimes. Mind you he did jog across the pitch on saturday

I thought that GG would be hard to replace but no one is irreplaceable. AW is as near as it gets so I don`t even want to think about who`s next.

Full support here for AW but agree with the comment that there is something we are not being told.
I think the club has the air of a business that is for sale and the owners wanting to reduce costs prior to that sale to make it more attractive to potential buyers.

Agree with that, Gibbo. Yes, I support Arsene fully, but have grave concerns about the effects all of this is having on him (or seems to be having). Yes, I've noticed that he is aging quickly - have you also noticed that he doesn't seem to be having fun anymore? He looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders with little hope of relief.

on the workload concern, why was nobody ever appointed to take over dein's role in transfers etc. rather than sharing the job amongst wenger and (was it fiszman)?

Dein's position was filled *temporarily* by Ken Friar, CE. It's been that way for over a year (about 15-16 months actually) and then with Edelman's departure, Friar also took over the Managing Director position. At 70+ years of age, he is fulfilling both roles. In my opinion they are having trouble filling Edelman's role because few at that level are going to want to come to a position that may not be there in a year or two (with all the take-over still looming, albeit more quietly now). I don't think they are in a huge hurry to fill Dein's position because it saves wages.

I still support Wenger
Question is do I trust the Board?
Lack of a super signing and offloading players does not add up.
We are meant to be one of the top 5 clubs in the world in value. The board should allow the release of funds to solidify that status.
