If I was Arsene, Diaby, Rosicky and RVP would be on a "yellow-card" so to speak. I know it isn't neccessarily their fault, but if those three aren't available for 80-90% of the games this year, I think its time we moved on without.
Agree 100%, no point having players sucking up the wages who just aren't available to play. Something everyone has to deal with in their lives, if I'm off ill that much i'd get fired... and suffice to say I get less than them in wages.

I am starting to wonder... I think all these footballers are just very savvy and saw the energy price hikes coming early... either that or they are all very good economists....
Im just wondering though Mikey, why so many players have left or have been loaned out? and why Wenger is struggling to bring people in or bring in someone experienced? something doesnt quite add up, and he said he was going to get someone and now he says he isnt.
Oh what I'd give to know what Arsene is thinking/doing right now.....
Its not the players going that bothers me, it's the lack of replacements.
I mean out of Lehmann, Gilberto, Flamini, Hleb, Hoyte, Senderos, Traore, Barazite, Nordtvedt, one could argue we aren't really losing a massive amount of quality, certainly not irreplaceable quality.

What worries me is we have known since Diarra left at least that we need a central midfield signing yet bar buying a child from Cardiff (who Arsene obviously feels isn't even good enough to play over a right back in that position against a poor team like Fulham) we don't seem to have addressed the situation at all.

If the window closes without improvement I'll be very worried for the season ahead. Yes Diaby is good (enough?). Yes Rosicky will be back. Yes Nasri could be new Pires. Yes we've still got best young central midfielder in the world, but I can't see Rosicky playing the part we need him to, and I need convincing Diaby is good enough for our first 11.

The explanation is that the vast majority of forum posters would appear to be in crisis!

Calm down, take a step back, take a deep breath and accept it is not under our control. Then try to enjoy the football and do what fans do, get behind the team. Hold them and the manager accountable for the real, factual actions on the pitch. Be prepared to be disappointed and exhilarated perhaps not in equal measure! That's football.

I agree with Cristian it's all been overboard on this forum lately.

I shudder to think what the reaction would be if we finished fifth.

But could we cope with the Thursday night games? Bayern looked a dead cert for a while last year but even they could not sustain it.
