AS i've posted before, this loan deal is lose lose for us. Our squad is weakened now with his departure, with Wenger little time and little inclination to replace him. WE get no cash sum (worth talking about anyhow). If he does perform brilliantly, Milan will take him at the price they've agreed - probably quite low as if were prepared to loan him, means we dont value him. If he doesnt perform they will either to to reneogiate a cheaper deal, or send him back. We get a player who comes back a failure and therefore very low in confidence

Milan still have Gattuso - who seems to be being replaced by Flamini - is exactly the sort of midfield experience we could do with. We should be asking for him on loan in exchange.

He's getting on abit sure, but he'd be a decent stop gap for now
