if Adebayor had gone for £35million like reportedly offered would Arsene have even spent any of that money? or do you think the board would have taken it as profit or towards the new stadium? Arsenal football club is turning into a joke.

Unless we do something significant in this final week - I think we will probably struggle all season and scrap fourth - well off the top and not even challenging.

ManCity, Aston Villa, Everton, WestHam(pushin it),Pomepy, Spuds - all the realistic teams to push for 4th have either not strenghtened enough/too much/in the wrong places or shown inconsentencies already.

Newcastle have started decently, never know they could be challengers so i wouldnt discount them either - which makes saturday's game a must win!

Obviously we dont know what the Jan window holds but with the current squad it doenst look good anywhere good enough to repeat last years feats - (which ended with us winning nothing and not going as far in the cups as we should have)

Many of us feel like that now. If I knew that this was going to happen I would have voted to shove the Emirates where the sun dont shine ans stick to the brilliant history of Highbury untill such time as we had more money to invest in a new stadium, either by a bigger sponsership deal or corperate companies etc.
I'll reserve judgment for 7 days then...

We took 9 points in our first 3 games last season... let's hope it's 6/9 this time next week.
Er no we didn't, we had 7 points of our first three games last season... drew at Ewood Park in the second game.

gnu... this is not a crisis. And the board don't have anything to do with all this... its Arsenes choices and the defeat at Fulham was his and the players faults. It was an off-day, it happens... mid-table? Really... No one outside the top four is close to us.. and all have big big problems too.

Phil has gone, I think he's made a mistake. But it is possible that Djourou/Song/Silvestre could do well too.

Rocky I know there is a lot of uncertainty atm, but ffs get some perspective. We have lost one game, we are currently weak in two areas... one of them WILL be reinforced with a good player, the other one might be but we still have options there but not as many as we had a week ago. This board is filled with the most ridiculous crap I've ever read from Arsenal fans.

Crisis? People have no perspective at all. Worst case realistic scenario, we finish fourth and have a good cup run. But I don't think that will happen... we have a lot to be optimistic about.

We have no experience in our team ,we are massively lacking in central midfield.
Our captain isnt showing good leadership qualities or footballing come to think of it.
Our squad is paper thin and we are getting a reputation as a club who sell and dont pay the going rate.
We are the most expensive team to watch in the world but the fans are not seeing their cash spent on players.
Our star player is luckily for us a fan of the club but he obviously needs help hence the Alonso interview.
Our managers reputation is on the line due to the Arsenal clear out and our board just dont say a word.
We were all waiting to see what the transfer window would bring and so far its been a nightmare.
Yes we will win games yes we will play alot better but I dont want to just aim for 4th place every season.
Many people are saying football is about now and not in a few seasons.
