You all may laugh at the prospect of QPR being a major club. But the new owners have far, far more money than the Russian geezer at Chelsea. And they won't be looking for a profit, like the greedy ones at Manure and the Mickey Mousers.
And the success that Chelski have enjoyed proves one thing. Throw enough money at a football club, they will win silver. You don't need a fanbase!
