Has anyone bought the Arsenal.com app for iphone? Was thinking of getting it, but wanted to check if it's worth the £2.99. Anyone bought and tested it yet? What's it like? Worth getting?

I don't know if the content's the same, but I have the desktop one for Vista. If it's the same I wouldn't suggest paying for it, all it is is a pop up of the headlines that come up on the website. That said, it's probably not the same.

I bought it. Basically you get:

- News feed broken down in to first team, ladies, reserves, youth etc in a fairly easy to read format. (i.e. easier than just reading it on the iPhone's browser)

- Video section - short highlights of the last few games (this appears to be Premier League only) plus various video interviews etc.

- Gallery - photos from Arsenal's recent matches. Photos can be saved.

- Squad - Stats and bios for the first team squad.

- "More" - mainly just a set of links to the main Arsenal.com site.

Interestingly, under "More" there is an ATVO link which says that "ATVO in your app" is coming soon.

It'd be great if they managed to create an update allowing you to buy ticket for games when they go on-sale via the app. I'm never at a computer when they go on-sale and I don't like calling up the box office as it's always busy.

Just log on to the box office on your mobile, it works that way.

I bought it and regret it now - £2.99 down the pan

There is nothing on there that you couldnt get by logging on to the Club Web site via the net on your iphone it isn't even especially that much quicker. But hey £2.99 compared to ticket prices is no big deal.

OK - what are the best value APPS anyone has? For me can't beat SKY+ (set recordings from the phone) or SKY Sports Centre mmmmmmmm seems to be a theme there

its ok for the goals and short video clips
but if u see under atvo it says coming soon in the next app update
I would love to be able to access that on my phone
