Almunia - 4.5 Couple of good saves (Would expect to save them), but counted 3 times where he completely bottled it when Miller had the ball and should have come out.

Clichy - 8.5 Top draw

Sagna - 7.5 Solid

Djourou - 7.5 Like him, should easily be ahead of Senderos in pecking order.

Gallas - 7 Good game, but wait until he plays against the good, big, tall strikers.

Theo - 4 Really really bad Confused

Eboue - 7. Dont really know what to say, hes so bad 9 times out of 10 but did well today.

Denilson - 7 Good game, but not the answer in CM.

Nasri - 8.5 1 word. Class.

Adebayor - 4.5, Worst finisher in the premiership.

Bendtner - 6 Dont rate him, but has started to impress me last 2/3 games. A bit better today.

Manuel Almunia 6 - Looked a little ropey to me. Reminded me of a season before last when he couldn't make his mind up whether to stay or leave his line. Hope he regains last seasons form.

Bacary Sagna - 7 Looked solid but was up against a fairly poor strikeforce.

William Gallas - 7 Again looked good (except when snarling at Djourou) but still against a fairly weak attack.

Johan Djourou - 7 commanding and might be about to sneak past Senderos as third choice. Is stronger and better in the air than Gallas and Toure so might might a good foil for them.

Gael Clichy - 8 Storming game and seems to link up very well with Nasri already.

Emmanuel Eboue - 6 had a decent game and provided some dribbling in our midfield.

Denilson - 8 I have criticised him recently but he had a great game and held the midfield together.

Samir Nasri - 8 MOTM Hopefully he will continue to settle in quick! good feet, nice tricks and has a desire to get into the box that we have lacked since Freddie and Pires left.

Theo Walcott - 6 Fits and starts. He shows he has the ability but struggles to maintain a level of performance. Needs to get some consistency before he can become a first 11 player.

Nicklas Bendtner - 7 Linked up play well and got into the box dangerously. Also looked better running with the ball.

Emmanuel Adebayor - 5 Had an absolute stinker. The Boo's didn't start until later on in the game so that didn't effect the early performance. Needs to get some consitancy in his game.

Substitutes
Kolo Toure - Kolo on the wing shows how stretched our squad is at the moment.
Robin Van Persie - Showed somed nice touches and nearly got a tricky goal.

hobart...seriously.....theo never scored the same as eboue...no matter how you look at it.......other than eboues poor shots, he never gave away possesion....he broke up their attacks and started some of ours.....an exellent display.

Not really. For his recent (not right back) standards he did much better. However he did lose possession several times. He played the ball to players who were marked several times. He also lost his man a few times. He still played well but I'm not going to celebrate a good performance like he has finally become pele.

As for Walcott, well he was close to a 5 but he snuck a 6 because he showed some good tenacity during the game which is new for him.

Almunia. 3 Didn't have much to do but they scored Frowner
Gael 5 My favourite player but the Fulham players beat him on most occasions. Really suspect yesterday.
Toure 5 Less than average.
Gallas. 4 Liability on the day. Responsible for their goal? On Friday, Edddie Kelly was praising Frank M as a captain. He said that even when we were losing, Frank would say " never mind, each of us should do our job as well as we can and the team will come good " How can Gallas even think that, let alone say it, when his performance is below par. He is not a leader, does nothing to rally the troops. A liability, especially when he is wearing the armband.
Sagna 5 Tried, but in vain. Some of his crosses Eeker
Walcott 2 Was he there?
Eboue 4
Denilson 3 Brazilian? Roll Eyes Eeker Totally colour blind. Passed to Fulham players constantly.
Nasri 5.5 Promised so much against WBA. What happened?
RvP 4 Why oh why did he continue to take our freekicks and corners?
Ade 4 When is he planning to start earning his enhanced salary?

Arsene Wenger 4 Got his tactics horribly wrong.
Djourou played very well for us in the last 2 games. Why was he on the bench? Why start Kolo who was not 100%?
Why wait until the 77th minute to substitute him?
Why keep Gallas as captain? He is no leader.
Why not substitute Song for Denilson or Eboue? Our midfield was the pits.
Why hasn't he woken up to the realisation that, at the very least, we need beefing up in midfield?
Has he realised that we are 13th in the league? Yes there is still a long way to go but do we have the temperament? the staying power? the strength in depth? the experience? the nous? the expertise to rise to a top four place?

Wake up AW and the team. An embarrassing diplay yesterday. Our display against WBA was only marginally better. The score gainst FC Twente flattered us.
Oh and the Away supporters get 9 out of 10. I have deducted one point for our naivety in allowing ourselves to be mugged for £48+ Big Grin

Manuel Almunia - 7 didn't have a lot to do. Made one rash run out of the box but was saved by an offside flag.
Bacary Sagna - 7 Looking solid again and coped well with everything thrown at him.
Johan Djourou - 8 Very good game and I did notice him organising the defence and talking a lot. Maybe going to breakthrough and claim a first team spot.
Gael Clichy - 7 probably had the hardest task with his winger. Stuck to the job and did well with an odd shaky moment.
William Gallas - 8 Played like the player i hoped we signed. Good game and dealt with everything.
Theo Walcott - 7 used his pace well and for 45 minutes gave the Twente defence a good run around. More of this and he will be pushing for a regular start.
Cesc Fabregas - 7 Still off the pace but made a big difference. His ability to find space gave every other player an out ball.
Denilson - 6 Work very hard and never gave up. His passing was still a bit off and he did struggle with some of the physical play.
Samir Nasri - 8 His quality is showing through. Great interlinking with Clichy and Cesc. Will do well i'm sure.
Nicklas Bendtner - 7 Had one of those games where nothing went right for him. However he never stopped trying. In the end got 2 assists and a goal.
Robin Van Persie - 6 Showed his skill in bursts. Still clearly finding his feet after a long time out but must start improving soon.
Alexandre Song - 7 Looked powerful and found some good defensive positions. Don't know whether Wenger sees him as a centre back or a defensive midfielder at the moment.
Emmanuel Adebayor - 7 Didn't get much time but put in the effort when he was on.
Emmanuel Eboue - 7 Dribbled well and looked useful for the first time since his right back days. Maybe there is a footballer in there trying to break free.

Overall i was impressed by the team spirit and the talking that was going on. Certainly the talking has been lacking for a while. I'm guessing that there was a very hard inquest after the Fulham game and the team responded well.

I'd agree with most of that. Theo was an 8 for me, MOTM. Also think Denilson was a 7, he started poorly but improved as the game went on.

Almunia - 7. Another clean sheet, and made a few decent saves.

Clichy - 8.5 Brilliant. Such a threat going forward, you can tell he really wants a goal. Sensational left back.

Sanga - 7.5 Did very well too.

Toure - 8 Defended a lot better, did well in the air today too and probably could have scored

Gallas - 8. For the first time in a while him and Toure seemed to play well together, one incident apart.

Nasri - 9. He looks like the signing of the summer. What a player, defends well and attacks even better. Unlucky not to have scored, dunno what happened with him and Barton but he is exceeding expectations.

Denilson - 7. Could have played better, gave the ball away too many times but he got stuck in and did well to score.

Cesc - 8. Seemed to be playing deeper, but was pulling the strings and doing the dirty stuff too.

Eboue - 8. Top class assist, he is playing so much better. Really looking like he is turning things around, though there might have been a dive I'll have to see on MOTD. He is looking like transforming from liability to good squad player, but time will tell.

van Persie - 9. This was a typical van Persie game... scores two then goes off injured. When he was on the pitch, he looked superb. He linked well with everyone and was a class above.

Adebayor - 8. Worked really hard, he's putting the effort in. Got an assist but hoping he scores soon, he drifted a lot but with RvP on the pitch thats a good thing. More performances like this.
