Senderos - 7 ?????

Ok, saved the game from going 1-1 but does that justify 7 (I admit it was his average performance, but solid? and good enough for us?)

From what I've seen, Diarra looked every bit as good as I expected him to be. He's so Malelele like when he follows people and wins the ball. He's also creative. Considering we got him from a rival club, and for only £2m, he's an amazing signing.

It will take a long time for Senderos to win over his detractors, he is a better player than many give him credit for. I am sure he willl overcome in the end.

Fabianski-7solid mostly
Hoyte - 5 lazy or laboured performance, coupled with mistakes.
Senderos - 7 redeemed ealier mistakes by the goal line clearance
Song -8 .5 so impressed ,especially as i thought he was pants before.
Traore - 8 defence and attacking top class, love this kid
Walcott - 6 glimpses of brilliance ,needs to take these chances this season.
Denilson - 7 Great goal, fabregas mark 2 in the making
Diarra - 8.5.he was wonderful,so composed .
Eboue - 7 several dives, which makes me sick ,but did really well, several shots too.
Bendtner - 7 needed to be targeted more during the game, did well when he was made a target, brought others into play, good header.
Eduardo - 7 only started to form a partnership late on but worked hard.

song and diarra were outstanding but my motm goes to song ,for a mans performance.(i got it wrong about him)

Fabianski - 7 I like his positivity
Hoyte - 6
Senderos - 6 Great clearance but disappointing
Song - 7 Pretty solid
Traore - 8 Looks like another brilliant prospect
Walcott - 6 Disappointing for me, especially when through on goal, indecisive
Denilson - 7 Quiet on the whole, great goal
Diarra - 9 Brilliant full debut - looks intelligent and athletic
Eboue - 7 I now think he's a centre forward in the way he plays, shocking dive
Bendtner - 7 I like him, but looked abit lost at times
Eduardo - 7 Hasn't totally convinced me yet, still think he's a poacher and not much else

It worked for Gary Lineker...

We have in my opinion a much more diversified strike force now. Even if that is all Eduardo is, and i'm not convinced it is, we have all other styles of stiker covered so it actually suits to have a 6 yard box man.

Well i have changed the title and will put my own match ratings up when i can. If it is an away game that i cannot get to watch then i will have to rely on someone attending to post a match rating. Big Grin

Almunia - 7 Did nothing wrong. Some good saves. Well protected.
Sagna - 8 Useful at both ends.
Toure - 8 Millions of clearances.
Senderos - 7 Solid. Wasn't caught out.
Clichy - 8 same as Sagna.
Hleb - 7 Great assist. Injured early on. **** Mark Noble.
Cesc - 7 Hard-working. Didn't quite click today, but still classy.
Flamini - 8 I love him so much. Undroppable at the moment. Like the proverbial Duracel Bunny.
Diaby - 7.5 Starting to look really useful on the wing. Used his pace and skill well.
Adebayor - 7 Hardworking. Didn't make the most of his chances today. A little off colour, but still a handfull for the defence.
RvP - 7 A more involved performance than the Spurs game (for example). Great header. Maybe a little wasteful with possession.

Eboue - 6 Enigmatic. Beats people for fun, but disappears completely and shirks defenisive duties, which is amazing considering he's been converted from right back.
Gilberto - 6.5 Did nothing wrong.
Bendtner - N/A

Be good if people could establish whether they were at the game, or watched in a pub or just listened on the radio.
