Don't know if anyonelse has this problem, but I have noticed lately that the pints being served at lower and upper tiers are far less than a pint, when I ask for a FULL pint they just look at me as if I am mad,as all the other pints waiting are short as well, surely the machine that pulls them is calibrated to deliver a FULL pint,so why is this, this is happening a lot.And a pint of fosters ain't cheap there either.
It evaporates while it sits on the shelf for three hours after being poored. It`s already travelled through a plastic pipe for up to 100 yds so there`s probably fatigue involved as well.
Do you drink the Bitter or the Lager ?
The Fosters,if you can call it lager,if you could see what you get when you buy a pint that would be good, but each time I get a less than a pint, and all the other beers look short too.Don't know if it gets 'spilt' on way to counter,or the beer machine ain't calibrated right, but it is FAR less than a pint.
Problem with the lager is that because there are more Lager drinkers than traditional bitter it gets poured in advance and settles long before you get it. As I said earlier the pub trade has always had problems with the head situation.Probably the pint is legally correct when it's poured but after standing for 5 minutes the froth has gone and the pint looks short.

actually the froth is not considered as liquid,it is common practise to make your beer have a head as you can stretch an 88pint keg/cask to over 90 pints,if poured correctly.
if you want 100% liquid then just ask,bar staff are instructed to top up pints for those who are unhappy with the froth,as they are well aware that you are paying for 100% liquid.
me personally... i wouldnt touch a beer/ale without a good head.

I was taught that it was best to tilt the glass when pouring a fizzy drink and straighten it at the end. They just stand the glass under a metered tap which encourages froth which as it then stands for a few minutes dissipates and makes the drink look shorter. Watch the barman next time you see a pint of creamflow being served, they always go back prior to handing it over and top up last inch or so.This does'nt happen at the Emirates because the taps are so far from the customer.

Not at Emirates they ain't,its like you are asking for the impossible, they have taken your money, given you a short pint, job done, they cant give you another pint because they are ALL short!!!
