Silvestre played whole 90+. Bischoff played about 55 minutes. We werte very nervous for the first 20 minutes or so, and constantly gave the ball away or were muscled off it. Poor Jack and Rui were singled out for special attention. They scored first, then we equalized with a beautiful goal from Coquelin. We then scored from a pen. Unfotunately they managed to equalize, but our boys fought. They had several bookings including one of their's who got 2 yellows and was sent off. Finally Rui put us ahead with a beautiful gooal which was solely his own work. It ended 3-2 to the Arsenal. A good game by Silvestre. Bischoff is okay. Rui and Jack had good games. Well done reserves after last week's drubbing by Villa.
Watched it, I thought we got out muscled far too much. 2nd half was a good improvement, however, they could have shot on target a few more times (sound familiar?)

They are hoping for first team places AK., so have to be off target, cross goal etc.

And not always fairly. Also the Stoke players were about twice the size of our players, but despite this we held our own and got on with it after a slow start. I guess the players were a little nervous after the drubbing by Villa - the early goal for Stoke probably made that feeling worse as well!
It was a bit frustrating in the second half when we were tippy-toeing across the front of the penalty area, then they boot one up the field and equalise! Our winning goal was pretty direct too. It was strange to hear the players making more noise than the crowd. Does that chatter go on in the big games with all the crowd noise? Stoke players must be hoarse today! They did try to rough our kids up; credit them for not reacting badly.

Shoot Shoot went up the cry.
As soon as we cross the half way line the jokers at the back of the stand were shouting shoot. We must have played about 50 passes and ended back up where we started.
