Really good piece by Martin Samuel this morning concerning our U18s.Among other things he said `Arsenal`s Youth Cup final win over Liverpool,6-2 on aggregate, was a minor master class.the demolition at the Emirates Stadium constituting one of th most complete performences of the season`. He finished the article `Now AW must steer a path between making the improvements that are vital to his first team, while not blocking the progression of the most promising batch of young players his academy has produced.Perhaps this is why Arsenal are looking for the finished article, experienced players in their late twenties, like Andrey Arshavin, who can make an impact now,yet will be ready to move aside by the time this generation is ready. It is a delicate balancing act but if Wenger pulls it off, potentially,he could create his greatest Arsenal team`.
