I've often wondered when I queue up in Tescos behind a staff member and watch a deduction on their and their friends and families bills and when I hear of free travel on the railways , do these people get taxed on it.? I was crucified for having a company car which I needed for work but not socially as I had a better one at home. I have asked these people and they have just smiled and declined to answer.

Potter (sorry I dunno how to quote!)

I don't get it free, you have to have been in the rail industry for some stupid amount of time for that, I get 75% off of rail travel which is a nice tidy saving, with regards to the taxation, i dunno

we can all look for normal train tickets but if croc can find cheaper tickets then thats amazing and would be a great help.
