I was unable to make the game last night and couldn't leave the house to get to a pub to watch on Sky. There was no commentary on the radio and no highlights later....I don't have ATVO and I run Linux on my home PC so things like SOPcast don't work (well I can't make it work).

I was well and truly scuppered Smiler

Hope the game was good the Sky Sports news 30 second snap made it look a good game.

Anyone else feel the frustration last night? Do you think any of our group games will get shown on ITV?

Just get Sky/Cable at home.

Its pretty much a dead cert that an Arsenal game will be on Sky once maybe twice a month.

If it costs say £30 a month to have Sky then thats £15 to watch an Arsenal match from comfort of your home if they are on twice.

If you were to go to a pub and watch the match you'd have what 4 pints?

4 pints = about £15

Its more like £50 a month if you want sports and as it stands I can't afford it and get to matches - so I've chosen matches.

Oh and pub wise I do 3 pints of IPA for £8.70 a couple of times a month when footies on.

the problem this season is that they have done away with ITV4 for CL matches.

or even better, get foreign satellite. It's cheaper (£300 a year) plus you get the 3pm kickoff's for the games you cant get tickets for or that sky/espn dont think are good enough to show i.e man city game.

The first time I went to my local in Brussels (I don't stay there at weekends) and there were 5 games screened (Fiorentina-Scousers Big Grin, Barca-Kiev, Debrecen-Lyon, AZ-Liege and Arsenal-Olympiakos on the greek staellite). It was full of TRUE Gooners working in Brussels and I really enjoyed it (with the help of RVP and Arshavin Smiler)

Don't get me wrong : I would love to know, I just think the thought police might be against the idea.
