What's everybody doing tonight? We usually have fireworks and a barbecue. I just cannot be bothered this year, so, I'll be listening to other people's noise.

the problem is it's a very Welsh national village, and they don't take kindly to English outsiders, so they will probably use me as a guy Big Grin

I'm all back to front this year. The place where I live had fireworks last weekend (missed it due to over-celebrating our result!) and I've got a Halloween party this weekend Smiler

Wouldn't it be great if 400 years from now, people were celebrating blowing up the current parliament? The modern day Guy Fawkes would be a hero and the 'guy' would be called Gordon and his 'special' friend Mandy Mandelson.

Being Irish, I find all this Guy Fawkes stuff very offensive and politically incorrect, and I demand that it is removed from the board or I will be taking legal advice.

I live on a hill at the edge of Epping Forest with a view over London to the Millennium Dome. We've had bonfire night every night for a week, but tonight is very spectacular. Don't need to buy any fireworks. Smiler
