All this talk about the Holocaust which we all know was the worst thing Humans can do makes me think about Hotel Rwanda.
Our politcians rightly keep the Holocaust alive so the Human Race never forgets but when Genocide is happening in another country they do nothing to stop it.
Makes you wonder doesnt it.

He got a bloody raw deal on QT, glad he sat through it and didn't walk away - i though this was meant to be an impartial programme - virtually everyone ganged up on him.

although he did make me laugh when Jack Straw virtually called him a nazi and he came back by saying my grandfather was an RAF pilot fighting in the war whilst Jack Straw grandfather was in prison for refusing to go to war -

8m tune in 3 times more than the average viewing - he will be back on there pretty soon..BBC love him now for boosting the ratings - bet he will be on Strictly next year as well

You are quite right he has a right to his opinion and a right to appear on the BBC.However,he did not cover himself in glory and although obviously set up he does not have the wit and the quick thinking to turn the tables on his opponents. One of BNP`s top officials has said that his performence has hurt the organisation.
Just to set the record straight his father was not a pilot during the war but a member of the ground crew who were just as important as the pilots.NG did not say his father was a pilot but just he was in the RAF.

As for him being on Strictly

I think we all agree that the policies of the BNP are not for us. But what I don't understand is 'right-minded' posters objecting to their freedom of speech.

If they wish to deny a voice to a person, organisation or political party 'cos they don't like what they stand for, then they are no different from those they object to.

Personally I detest Jack Straw and his hypocritical colleagues, but I won't be protesting outside the BBC studios. I'll wait for the election.

Jack Straw did more for the BNP cause than NG did that night by his refusal to accept his government's immigration policy has increased their support. The only one to come out with any credibility was the Tory reprsentative the muslim Baroness (I can't remember her name). I listened to her claim that we issue 2 million student visas a year but have no way of checking who's gone home. When a member of an ethnic minority suggests we need to look at immigration it's time to sit up and listen. In my opinion.

Anyway I'm of now as I'm recovering from my caribbean meal last night, washed down with rum.Cooked by a mate of Levi's. I'm also about to go through my collection to prepare for my night of ska and reggae that I regularly do in pubs.

I find Nick Griffin and his party totally abhorrent, they have absolutley no basis for their views, they don't even know what their views are, other than they dislike people of a different race.

However, I found the Question Time show an embarassment, and not necessarily for Mr griffen. It was like a pack of dogs firing accusations at him, and before he could answer, another one was thrown at him. Even the "impartial" chairman Dimbleby was at it, his job should be under question for that The politicians were desperately palming off their own shorcomings on NG, and members of the audience were allowed to just state that they fund him repulsive, but not actually asking a question.

Noone else would have been allowed to be subjected to this, and the BBC has scored ahuge own goal, at the taxpayers expense. Awful stuff, and totally amateurish. Stooping to quotes from tabloid newspapers to back up their targeting of Griffin.

The producer of QT, and Dimbleby, should be fired for that IMO.

Excellent post Reg.In a post yesterday I praised the Tory Shadow Minister for Communities (I can`t remember her name either) as she was very articulate, spoke sense and seemed honest which is unusual for a Politician.Unfortunately my post was pulled by the Mods not because of her but the way I described NG.(dotty apologised later).

Baroness Swasi, I think. I thought she came over as informed on the subject of border control and gave the impression that she had done her homework before the programme. The others including Dimbleby left me cold as their only contribution was defaming Mr Griffin.

David Dimbleby was more like a Prosecutor than the Chairman of a panel, the Lib Dem was lightweight,Jack Straw is a waffler but I found Bonnie Greer interesting, obviously mega brainy but as she is cultural rather than political I`m not sure why she was there. However,NG performed badly a top communicator would have turned the tables but hopefully he won`t be ousted by the BNP as he might be replaced with someone of greater stature.

Ethnicity I would think. Almost primed for the KKK question.

Suggest a solution and I will refrain from putting him on my ignore list. I have reported some of his personal attacks on me, but there has been no action on those posts.

My experience in situations like this is face to face meetings. You both go to the the Emirates arrange to meet up before the game for a chat.I`ll come with you if you wish.

Thanks for the offer RR, but, I do not wish to meet him. I will just try to ignore his childish and offensive posts.

Oh my good god, I truly agree with this, I'm sick of nu labour banning everthing. However, I can't understand why the BNP is a legitimate party.

They are taking advantage of the standards that our predecessors fought for and subsequently won : the right to free speech.

Unfortunately, and rarely, Peter Hain was right, its become an advert for the BNP. Still top of the Yahoo search list. The BBC have really messed this up, and the major parties representatives needed to be better prepared. As NG said on the show, to call him anti-Islamic with the blood of an illegal war on your hands isn't easy. But they said it, and made themselves look stupid while doing so.

As all the major parties have derided Griffin and made themselves look stupid, perhaps now they will address the subjects he is raising and put him out of business that way.

I'm not arguing with that, and as a legitimate party, they should have it. As far as I am concerneced, correct me if I'm wrong, only white people are allowed to join the BNP, how can they be considered a legitimate organisation with rules like that?
