Go back into the same menu that you used to put the person on the ignore list. There is a choice to take that person off your ignore list.

for those without and backbone or any reason, thought and inteligence. used by the humans who would rather stick their heads in the sand ( or up their &^%$s) than face the truth.

That is the crux of the matter Kaf. Some arguments are not reasoned, nor are some posters prepared to listen and debate sensibly.

i disagree with you kaf and agree with showers.

I would bet that in real life you ignore plenty of people who bore the pants off you. We all do. And you ignore people on this board too. What's the difference in using the software to filter their rubbish out. I'm not stopping them posting and having their say. I'm saying that I personally can gain nothing from their posts.

Some posters are just dull like radders so he's going on my ignore. Its not because I might lose an argument with him (that just isn't going to happen let's face it) but because he can't be bothered debating anything and because his humour is at a shoolboy wind up level. He offers nothing. When people waste my time i ignore them. Simple.

Thanks for your helpful responses and also for those not so! For those non-fans of the ignore feature, I totally agree with your opinion but I do think it's up to the individual whether they use it or not. In my defence (not that I should need to justify it), it was the Scouser who was on my ignore list (and the only one) and the reason was that I don't come on here to argue or discuss with anyone other than Arsenal fans and I think it's wrong that he or she is on here at all. Having said that, I'm just not fussed now and so thought I'd see if he/she has gained any intelligence during their much welcomed absence.

I also agree with Swede that it's better to put nothing rather than some inane comment if you don't like what someone has said but have nothing to actually add.
