I have a beautiful silk rug that I bought years ago. I would love to hang it on a wall, but it needs loops for the pole to go through. Does anyone know where I can get this done? I've even tried upholsterers, to no avail.

Phoenix you could always just get a sleeve sewn into the back or a series of fabric loops sewn in that would do the job just as well!

What happened to Peking? Did they close it down and demolish it like Bombay? Confused

I think Peking and Bombay used the same Urban Replanners as Leningrad...

..never to be heard of again.

Seriously though, I`d have thought a curtain makers or dress shop could help. English Heritage must have contacts or the National Trust.
